Course Overview
This 3-day integration programme helps participants understand the interaction between PLC control systems and Autonomous Mobile Robots within an integrated automation environment. It combines PLC programming, AMR navigation and task management, communication principles, signal exchange, system coordination, operational interlocking, practical configuration and integrated troubleshooting.

Day 1 - PLC Foundations
- PLC history, uses and brand comparison
- Communication protocols, devices and I/O hardware
- Programming environment and developing basic PLC logic
- Servicing, maintenance and I/O testing
Day 2 - AMR Foundations
- Introduction to AMR and AMR hardware
- Introduction to RCS (Robot Control System)
- Introduction to RDS (Robot Dispatch System)
- Basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance
Day 3 - Integration & Practical
- Network configuration, SLAM mapping and connection
- Route drawing, waypoints and task-chain programming
- Importing maps and AMRs into RDS; storage, charging & traffic control
- Communication and signal interlocking between PLC and AMR
